Featured Technology:  SAR Point Clouds

 

Neva Ridge has developed a new approach for calculating three-dimensional locations of pixels in SAR images.  Once determined, a "point cloud" can be constructed from this data.  These SAR Point Clouds provide unprecedented three-dimensional precision, and can be obtained in any weather, day or night, from long stand-off aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles or even space.   This technology is in its infancy and will be an enabling capability for many applications going forward.

SAR Interferometry

Neva Ridge has a complete compliment of traditional SAR interferometry tools for change detection, ground motion measurements (2-pass, 3-pass and PSI techniques) and elevation mapping.

SAR Point Clouds

A new technique for producing 3D point clouds from SAR data has been developed and demonstrated by Neva Ridge using a variety of SAR systems.

Change Detection

Change detection using SAR is known to be a very robust approach for monitoring regions.   Coherent (CCD), non-coherent (ACD) and polarimetric (PolCD) approaches have been implemented at Neva Ridge.

Image Formation

Neva Ridge has SAR Image Formation capabilities using a variety of algorithms including PFA, RMA and CBP.  These are implemented in both CPU and GPU environments.
